A fresh look at contemporary textiles

Work from members of the Textile and Fibre Arts
Network is sought for display.
Preference will be given to new work created in the last 12 months. Work
previously exhibited outside Christchurch may be exhibited. Any textile item is
eligible for entry- bags, boxes, quilts, items of clothing etc.
Information on entry
criteria and entry forms will be available at meetings and in newsletters. We
would also love you to have a go at the challenge.
Challenge topic: “Shaken, not stirred”
This topic is to
encourage Network members to create an original work of any size featuring more
than one textile discipline. Shake yourself out of your comfort zone and mix in
something different! Embroider your felt, weave a quilt, lace on your knitting?
Anything goes. Just have fun!
