Woolfeast appears to have been very successful last Saturday with hundreds of people through the doors. Thanks to Anne and Jane for manning the Southern Felters table. Jane had her hands full all day doing felting demonstrations

Upcoming Creative Fibre Area Exhibition
A reminder from the Creative Fibre Area that the Area Exhibition will take
place in the Visitor Lounge, Canterbury Museum from September 16-25. There will
be an Opening on Thursday 15 September to which all members are invited.
Selection will take place at Sandra Dain's house (5 Harkness
Place, Avonhead) on Sunday September11. All articles are to be at her house by
Friday 9 September. She can collect articles at the Tannery on Saturday
September 10.
Sandra spoke to the Creative Fibre National Exhibition convenor
Nynke Piebenga recently about entries in Area and National exhibitions. It is
possible to submit articles into an Area exhibition and then submit them to a
National exhibition but it is better if it is done the other way round. All
articles must have been made within the last year. A first time entrant in our
Area exhibition will still count as a first time entrant in a National
exhibition.
